How long does it take to get set up?
About ten minutes. Add your shop, invite your staff and you're up and running — no training, no installer and no IT visit needed.
Can my staff use it on their own phones?
Yes. Each staff member gets their own secure login to see their rota, clock in and out, and pick up their payslips — all from their own phone.
Do I need a card to start?
Yes — you add your card when you start your free month, but you won't be charged until the month ends. Cancel anytime before then and you pay nothing.
Can I run more than one shop?
Yes — hold all your shops in one account and switch between them in a tap. Your first shop is £14.99 a month and every extra one is a flat £12.99, all on a single bill.
What about age-check compliance?
Every Challenge 25 refusal, incident and inspection is logged with a time-stamp, so your records are always ready if the council or police ask.
Does Wendr file my payroll with HMRC?
No — and that's worth being clear about. Wendr works out PAYE, National Insurance, pension and student loan from your staff's real hours, produces their payslips, and gives you a file you can hand to your accountant or use with HMRC Basic PAYE Tools. Sending the RTI submission to HMRC is still down to you or your accountant.
