Questions, answered
How long does it take to get set up?
We set up your shop for you. Most of the work is ours. Your 14-day free trial starts the day setup is finished.
Can my staff use it on their own phones?
Yes. Each staff member gets their own secure login to see their rota, clock in and out, and pick up their payslips — all from their own phone.
Do I need a card to start?
Yes. We take your card when you start, so your shop keeps working the day the trial ends. Nothing is taken for the first 14 days, and you can stop any time before then and pay nothing.
Can I run more than one shop?
Yes. Keep all your shops in one account and switch between them with one tap. Extra shops cost less. Message us for your price.
What about age checks?
Every Challenge 25 refusal, incident and visit is saved with the date and time, so you can show your records quickly if a licensing officer or the police ask to see them.
Does Wendr file my payroll with HMRC?
No — and that’s worth being clear about. Wendr works out PAYE, National Insurance, pension and student loan from your staff’s real hours, produces their payslips, and gives you a file you can hand to your accountant or use with HMRC Basic PAYE Tools. Sending the RTI submission to HMRC is still down to you or your accountant.
